John C. Herbers
President, CEO
As CEO of the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Herbers brings over 40 years of multiple industry business experience in start-ups, turnarounds, and senior management roles. He has run companies in over a dozen industries, nationally and internationally, public and private. In addition to his children, Grant, Madison, and daughter-in-law Krystyn, his greatest passion surrounds issues about how to advocate for individuals and businesses, create jobs and economic prosperity, and assist young professionals with their career development.
Most recently John was President of Imerica Life and Health, a major medical health insurance carrier licensed in 32 states. Prior to Imerica, he was Co-Founder of MHM Partners, LLC, a healthcare consulting and management services firm providing strategic guidance to healthcare providers and health insurance carriers across the country. He also served as Co-Founder and CEO of Integrated Financial Systems, Inc. (IFS), a financial services firm formed to help patients finance their hospital bills. Prior to IFS, Mr. Herbers was Executive Vice President at Convergent Communications where he participated in an IPO underwritten by Goldman Sachs resulting in the company becoming NASDAQ listed. In his first year as Executive Vice President of National Operations, Mr. Herbers was personally responsible for adding over $30 million in new contracts, and managed the integration of 18 acquisitions in 18 months.
Past roles have also included CEO of Computer Resources Corporation/NCS; Senior Vice President, International Operations for Halozone Technologies; Chairman and CEO of Trivest Corporation; and CEO of Clinton Whiteley Associates, a regional advertising and marketing firm. In addition, he has assisted numerous firms with strategic issues surrounding financing, planning, organization, sales, and marketing.
Throughout his career Mr. Herbers has been a member of, and served on, numerous business and civic boards and organizations. He is Past-President of The Rotary Club of Denver Southeast, Past-President of the Denver Southeast Rotary Foundation, former Board member of The Denver Crime Victims Center, and a Senior Partner in the Partners Program for disadvantaged youth. He is a graduate of the Denver Police Academy in 1976 and served for 4 years as a Denver Reserve Police Officer and is a licensed private pilot. Mr. Herbers resides in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Mr. Herbers has 2 children, Grant and Madison, and a daughter-in-law, Krystyn, who live in Highlands Ranch. |

Louie Miller
Chairman of the Board
Louie Miller was named Board Chairman of the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce in January of 2012. He is extremely fortunate to direct an energetic and dynamic chamber board in member promotion and fund-raising support. He also leads the organization in setting goals to further the healthy quality of life and business climate in the Southern Denver community.
A successful business owner and community leader, Louie Miller is known for leading with a degree of skill and enthusiasm that bring out the best in those around him. His firm, Benefit Resource Group, personifies Louie’s vision and personality. By putting the needs of his clients first and displaying a true concern for the needs of the employer, he has been a leader in the Employee Benefit/Group Health Insurance industry for more than 20 years.
In addition to his Chamber work, Louie is also a board member with Progressive Health foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting wellness solutions to employers and those fighting the battle with cancer.
A true Colorado native, Louie enjoys living in the south metro area with his beautiful wife Pamela, and two incredible daughters Jaylene and Danielle. |

Paul Oberman
Treasurer
Paul Oberman has been a board member since 2010 and serves as Treasurer. Paul brings a combination of passion for the Chamber combined with his disciplined financial background.
Paul is a Founding Partner of C Squared Solutions, LLC, and brings over 40 years of executive financial leadership and management experience as a C level executive, a financial consultant and Big Four CPA firm auditor. Paul has served as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President-Finance/Accounting for companies in a variety of industries.
Paul and his wife Nancy moved from the Midwest to Denver in 1970 and educated their children in the Cherry Creek School District. Philanthropy and community participation have been an integral part of their lives. Paul enjoys family, skiing, biking, travel and the arts.

Jill Wisehart
Marketing Chair
Jill Wisehart is the Director of Marketing for the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce. She will spearhead the Chamber’s marketing and positioning.
Jill has specialized in brand management and marketing for over 25 years. She has launched well known brands like Coach Leatherwear stores, Dish Network and STARZ - just to name a few. Her experience has taken her from NYC to Denver; from the Fashion Industry to the cable industry, even the nonprofit world. She loves to help others position themselves and their businesses. Jill is hard driving and plays to win. She is a great ally and advisor for any business looking to increase their volume or re-position their brand.
Jill and her husband (Rex) own and operate YellowSchmello, LLC. This Denver based business provides mostly online strategies and solutions for businesses of all sizes. For over two years YellowSchmello has been helping businesses Stand Out and B Found both on- and off-line.
When Jill is not working she is helping others as she delivers meals for Project Angel Heart. |

Eriq E. Cook
Technology Chair
Entrepreneur and technology enthusiast, Eriq Cook serves on the board of the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce for Technology and Communications.
As a Colorado native, Eriq has supported the Greenwood Village business community for over 15 years. Eriq currently owns and operates TEQ Media, a local website design & development company, and TEQ Computer Solutions, providing computer consulting services since 2001. With his passion for people, diversity and community, Eriq enthusiastically enjoys working with the Chamber to help communicate and grow the Chamber’s vision and values.
Eriq enjoys living in the Denver Tech Center with his beautiful wife Kelie, and dog Butch. |

Jennifer Evans
Ambassador Committee Chair
Jennifer Evans is the Chair of the Ambassador Committee for the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce.
Upon graduation from Metropolitan State College of Denver with a Degree in Business Management, Jennifer has been involved in the private security industry. She has held various management and customer service roles with Advantage Security, a Colorado company. Jennifer brings high energy, organization and a positive attitude into everything she does. She has involved herself with several non-profit and industry specific organizations, proving to be an asset to any team she is involved with.
Jennifer has a passion for non profit work and has been on the Leadership Council for the American Lung Association of Colorado for four years, chaired various committees, and created successful fundraising events. Jennifer and her husband Sonny have recently purchased their first home, which they enjoy with their dog Lucy. |

Melissa Wilson
Ambassador Co-Chair
Melissa Wilson has been an active member of the Greenwood Village Chamber of Commerce and has served the organization in several capacities. She has been past Chairman for the 2010 Taste of Greenwood Village and Co-Chairman in 2011. Past Chairman for the Ambassador Program, Liason to the Community Partnership with the Denver Tech Center Colorado Business Women (DTC-CBW) organization and recipient of the Chamber's 2009 Ingrid Fry Member of the Year. She currently serves on the Board assisting with events and special projects.
With a passion for people and business, Melissa Wilson's professional accomplishments include advertising, marketing, sales training, managed care insurance systems, event facilitation and implementation combined with a "go getter and go giver" attitude. In business with her husband, their company services include retail lease negotiation, customized employee and customer service programs and target marketing campaigns.
In addition to working with the Chamber, Melissa also serves on two additional boards and has a strong sense of community involvement and outreach. She has been a member of DTC CBW for over 17 years and was the recipient of their Woman of the Year award in 2008. Melissa and her husband, Ron, have lived in the south metro area for 28 years and enjoy the Colorado outdoors with their labrador retriever. |

Pam Lippitt
Forum Chair
Pam Lippitt is very pleased to work along-side such a talented team of people on the Greenwood Village Chamber Board. As the newest member to the board, Pam will use her marketing, business-coaching and organizational skills to help grow the chamber and position it as THE outstanding resource for business connections in the Denver Tech Center.
Pam spent 13 years in top New York and Baltimore advertising agencies managing multi-million dollar accounts. After leaving the advertising industry in order to focus on her family, she continued to work on freelance marketing projects and volunteer opportunities, ranging from the creation of a domestic violence organization to helping write a cookbook for Children’s Hospital of Denver… and most recently, working with multiple schools and the Kidney Foundation of Colorado.
Pam and her husband Scott are Master Franchisees of Mars Venus Coaching of Colorado, and are certified Mars Venus business and executive coaches and trainers. We teach business owners and executives how to dramatically increase their revenue and improve their profitability by being more productive, creative and focused on the things that are important in running their business effectively – not allowing the business to run them.
Throughout the year, you’ll find Pam and her family watching their son Mitchell perform on stage and their son Shane compete at ball fields and gymnasiums. |
