By getting involved in committees and task forces, you have the opportunity to make more business connections, promote your business, work on exciting projects and get involved in the community.

Listed below are committees with a brief description. Contact the Chamber office for more information.

Ambassadors
Public relations arm of the Chamber. Welcome members and guests at events and provide ongoing welcoming and retention efforts on behalf of the chamber.

Business Development and Education
One of the responsibilities of the Chamber is to provide business development opportunities.

The education committee is tasked with bringing in relevant educational programs to both the membership as well as the business community at large.

GVYP - Greenwood Village Young Professionals
As the young professionals group this committee represents the future of the chamber. Young professionals (21-40) make up this group through activities such as: community service/volunteer work, professional development, and networking.

Government Affairs
This committee is charged with keeping up to date on the affairs of government and it's connection to the business community.  This group networks with State and local government officials and periodically meets with elected officials to discuss matters before the various jurisdictions. 

This committee also works in concert with the Colorado Association of Commerce and Industry to assist the business community in staying abreast of matters that directly affect their business community

Homeland Security
Since 9-11 American businesses have had a much larger stake in protecting our nation's infrastructure.  This committee is charged with staying informed about issues surrounding homeland security and works with InfraGard - an organization sponsored by the FBI to keep business informed about current security issues. Background check is necessary to participate.

Southeast Corridor Community Expo
Each Spring, the Chamber in partnership with the City of Centennial and the City of Greenwood Village hosts a community expo to introduce businesses of all types to the local community. Includes exhibit hall, full day of workshops and concludes with a Business After Hours all open to the public.

Greenwood Village GooseChase
Each year in June, the Chamber in partnership with the City of Greenwood Village we host an award winning Run/Walk/Ride Event.  Approximately 1,000 participants come out for the Chamber's largest annual fundraising event.  This has been a signature event since 1996.

Taste of Greenwood Village
The Taste of Greenwood Village is held each Autumn and is home to one of the Front Range's most popular and elegant food and wine tasting event.  Local restaurants come together to provide some of their signature dishes and the best wines from across America.
